📄️ SMB
SMB service allows Windows, Mac, and other clients that support the SMB protocol to access data stored in TNAS.
📄️ FTP
TOS has its own PAM authentication. When a user attempts to access TNAS via FTP and consecutively enters the wrong password three times, the system will block the FTP and AFP protocols for two minutes. After that, the user can regain access to FTP and AFP protocols.
📄️ NFS
The NFS file service allows Linux clients to access data stored on this TNAS device. Currently, TNAS supports NFSv3, NFSv4, and NFSv4.1.
📄️ rsync Server
Enable the rsync server and configure TNAS as a remote backup server, allowing other storage devices to remotely backup data to TNAS.
📄️ WebDAV
Enabling the WebDAV server allows access to TNAS using WebDAV-supported client programs such as WinSCP, RaiDrive, Mac OS Finder, and Linux file managers. If you have a public IP address, you can map the router's port for use by the WebDAV service. This enables access to TNAS via the WebDAV protocol using the public IP address and port number.
