rsync Server

Enable the rsync server and configure TNAS as a remote backup server, allowing other storage devices to remotely backup data to TNAS.

Usage Instructions

Check "Enable rsync Server" and set the port number. Enter a username and password, and finally, add authorized directories.

Authorized directories only allow adding valid storage spaces that are in a mounted state. Supported types include:
• Regular shared folders
• Mounted encrypted shared folders
• Mounted virtual hard disks
• Mounted external hard drives
• Mounted external USB devices

Note
  1. When accessing the rsync server from other storage devices, username and password authentication is required.
  2. Only after adding authorized directories can you select the destination path when creating an rsync backup task.
