You can adjust the system time zone and time, select and switch the system interface language, configure the NTP network time synchronization service, and customize the style of the login page according to actual needs, thereby improving the system's usability and personalized experience.
Time
Differences Between TNAS Time Setting Methods
| Setting Method | Time Source | Applicable Scenario |
|---|---|---|
| Manual Setting | User-specified | No network connection, inability to access NTP servers, or need to set a custom specific time. |
| Synchronize with Server | Preset or custom NTP time server | Recommended for most users. Ensures long-term accurate system time, suitable for scenarios requiring high time consistency. |
| Synchronize with Web Browser | Local system time of the client device | Used when the time of the device where the browser is located is accurate and TNAS cannot connect directly to NTP servers, suitable for temporary or simplified configuration scenarios. |
Language
Users can separately set the TOS interface language and the system notification language on this page, with a total of 13 languages supported.
• TOS Interface Language: After the setting takes effect, all text in the TOS interface, except for system notifications, will switch to the selected language.
• Notification Language: After the setting takes effect, newly received system notifications will be sent in the selected language; the language of notifications that existed before the setting will not be updated.
