TOS (TerraMaster Operating System) is a web-based operating system specifically designed for TNAS devices. Through the TOS operating system, you can quickly and easily complete tasks such as modifying system settings, installing and opening applications, and managing storage space.
📄️ Security Advisor
Security Advisor is an efficient system configuration scanning tool designed to thoroughly inspect your system’s security settings. It accurately identifies potential security risks and provides targeted solutions. Upon system initialization, Security Advisor will automatically start the first scan. After the scan is complete, Security Advisor will provide security recommendations and countermeasures based on the scan results.
📄️ App Center
You can install applications designed by the TerraMaster team or third-party applications that meet your needs in the Application Center. For example, Duple Backup is a disaster recovery tool with backup and restore functions, CloudSync can quickly synchronize data between TNAS and cloud drives, Photos can intelligently recognize and categorize photos, and Docker Manager is a tool that manages images through a graphical interface.
📄️ Terminal
Terminal is a native command-line management tool built into the TOS system, providing administrators with direct access to the underlying system. Administrators can directly launch the Terminal application without secondary authentication and gain full system control, offering a usage experience identical to accessing the system backend via SSH.
📄️ Global Search
Global Search is a powerful retrieval tool specifically developed for TNAS. By building a folder index database, it supports rapid searching of TOS features, applications, folders, and various file types (such as Office documents, images, audio, etc.), significantly improving search efficiency and user experience.
🗃️ file-manager
File Management provides a Web-based intuitive file operation interface, supporting direct access and management of TNAS local data. Through the Remote Folder feature, you can mount folders from other NAS devices, servers, or cloud drives (supporting protocols such as SMB, NFS, WebDAV, etc.) locally, achieving unified access and convenient management of cross-device, cross-platform data.
🗃️ Storage Manager
The Storage Management provides unified control over storage resources. It is responsible for centralized monitoring, configuration, and optimization of storage devices (disks, arrays, cloud storage, etc.), enabling on-demand allocation and reclamation of storage space.
