Update
When a new system version is available, you can update via the update interface.
Management
Through the buttons in the management tab, you can perform the following operations:
- Automatically Check and Download Updates: Automatically check for updates every 24 hours and download them if available.
- Manual Update: Manually upload the update package to initiate the update process.
- Check for Updates Now: Immediately check for available updates.
Configuration
Manage system configuration settings.
Management
Through the buttons in the management tab, you can perform the following operations:
- Reset System Configuration: Resetting the system configuration clears all settings, restoring the system to its initial state post-initialization. You’ll need to recreate the administrator account.
- Back Up System Configuration: Back up the system configuration. If there’s a misoperation or a system update clears the configuration, you can restore the system to its previous state using the backup.
- Restore System Configuration: Import the configuration file to restore the system to its previous state.
After restoring the system configuration, TNAS will restart, possibly changing its device IP. Use the TNAS PC application to locate the new IP address. Log in to TOS using the username and password from the restored configuration.
Restore to Factory Default
Restoring to factory default will return your TNAS to its original state. The entire system configuration will be removed, all application settings will be deleted, but disk partitions and data will remain unaffected. You will need to reinstall the system.
