System Logs

On this page, you can view all system logs in the TNAS system. All logs are categorized by their corresponding levels (Info, Warning, Error) and categories (System, Access, File, Storage, File Service), providing you with comprehensive and accurate system operation information.

Management and Operations​

  • Clear: Delete all log records displayed under the current filter conditions.
  • Export: Export the current filter results to a file.
  • Settings: Configure retention rules for log archiving, including capacity, quantity, and time conditions.

Log Archiving​

When the log archiving feature is enabled, the system will automatically save the current logs as .log files to the specified storage location and clear the current log list once the log data meets the preset archiving conditions.

Archiving Trigger Conditions​

  • Data Size: 1 MB (approximately 100,000 entries), 3 MB, 5 MB, 10 MB
  • Log Quantity: 100,000 entries, 300,000 entries, 500,000 entries, 1,000,000 entries
  • Retention Period: 30 days, 90 days, 180 days, 365 days

Storage Location​

The default storage path is under the Public folder directory. Users can customize and modify the storage path to facilitate centralized management or backup of archived log files.
